Are you prepared better for judgment day better than demons?

In Luke 8:26-39 demons show they know that Jesus is the Son of God, and that He will judge all creature including spirits and humans one day.

If we haven`t turned to God in faith and repentance, we should fear Jesus Christ, the only one who saves us from the wrath to come.

What do you fear?

The disciples feared the storm was going to sink their boat, so they wake up Jesus, who was asleep. Jesus then challenges the disciples: "Where is your faith?" The disciples then feared Jesus Christ as they realised He is more than a man. He`s the God-Man, the creator who sustains all things by His word.

What sort of heart do you have?

In the "Parable of the Sower" there are 4 types of responses to the Word of God. The 1st response rejects God`s word immediately because they don`t think they need God`s forgiveness.

How do you discern true Christianity?

The answer is how people are hearing and receiving God`s word.

Jesus is the Lord who is our creator, king and Saviour through his sinless life, substitutional death and resurrection. Only through faith in Him alone can we be saved from the wrath of God for our sins as we repent for them and put our hope in Christ alone.

Do you think a large crowd at church is a good sign?

In Luke 8:4-15 Jesus warns the large crowd listening to Him that there will only be some amongst those who "believe" who will actually have a true, saving faith. Many of those who "believe" after hearing the perfect preaching of Jesus will actually fall away in times of testing because they have no root, or will stop believing when trials come, or the Word will be choked by the pleasures of this life.

How do you know if you possess saving faith?

It is not enough to have positively responded to the gospel of Jesus Christ at some stage or to even attend a Bible believing church.

Christ warns about superficial responses to His word in the "Parable of the Sower" in Luke 8:4-15.

Only those who hold fast to God`s word with a humble, repentant heart are saved by their faith in Jesus Christ alone.

Do you know who is Jesus Christ really is?

How do you know if you`re being self-righteous?
